Motherwort is the plant that made me an herbalist.  I found her at a time that I desperately needed her, when I was feeling anxious, hopeless and depressed. 

Motherwort has been traditionally used to support mothers, to ease irritation and is known to mother the mothers.  It has also been traditionally used to support women through the changes of menopause.  It can be especially helpful to those who have anxiety with palpitations (feeling of your heart racing) as it can calm the heart both physically and spiritually.  Motherwort has also  been traditionally used to ease depressive moods. 

Not for use in pregnancy.
